Froggatt edge & Curbar edge circular walk

Summary

In the heart of the Peak District, Froggatt Edge offers splendid views over Derbyshire. There are interesting rock formations, sheltered birch woodland and lots of heather to see in the late summer. You can start the walk from the Curbar gap car park where straight away you are surrounded by over 200 rock-climbing routes on Curbar Edge with views overlooking Froggatt. Breath-taking to say the least! This is a circular walk where after you walk past the edge you then head through open moorlands. Half way through we stopped off at the Grouse Inn for some lunch and quick pint before heading over the barren moorlands back to the car park.
