Life and Times of a Yorkshire Lad

La’al Cottage

Upon entering the cottage, a welcome pack greeted us offering homemade scones (that were delicious) a letter explaining important information about the cottage and a chalk board to the end of the room wishing us a great stay. The thoughtful touches were a delight!

As we explored the cottage, it had a low ceiling with pockets of small details that seemed to make the accommodation have a cosy, warm feel to it, which gave the natural wooden beams added character to the interior. The spiral staircase, leading upstairs, opened up to a small but cosy high ceiling bedroom that had more added features which made for a comfortable nights sleep.
